Allergy to dust and wool? Modern allergy remedy - L-Set®

It is generally believed that the most turbulent time for allergy sufferers is spring. However,
recent studies have shown that one should not relax even in autumn and winter. Allergies to
dust and pet hair become active during this period, when windows are practically never
opened, and the opportunities to properly ventilate the room are increasingly limited.

What is the cause of dust and pet hair allergy?

In case of allergy to dust and hair, the body reacts not to the irritants themselves, but to
the microorganisms that live in them. What we call dust is a mixture of various microscopic
particles. It may contain small scales of human epithelium, pet hair, food scraps, flower
pollen, textile fibers from linen and clothing, excrement of rodents and insects, spores of
molds and yeasts, bacteria, and even living creatures – microscopic dust mites. Their size
is only from 100 to 300 microns. Saprophytes feed on dead human skin scales. And since a person
"sheds" about 2 kg of such particles per year, mites thrive in our apartments.

Any items in which harmful particles accumulate (carpets, pillows, blankets, mattresses,
bookshelves with long-standing collections of works) can cause allergy symptoms.

Symptoms accompanying allergic diseases

Nasal congestion, frequent sneezing, rhinitis;

Redness of the eyes, their itching, tearing;

Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, suffocation;

Hissing wheezes in the lungs, unsuccessful attempts to cough.

This question has a clear solution – of course, consult a doctor. Only a doctor will prescribe the necessary examination, make the correct diagnosis, and prescribe appropriate treatment. Under no circumstances should you engage in self-medication!

Allergy to dust and pet hair is not just a whim of the body, but a serious disease that, like any illness, requires treatment. Although it is not possible to get rid of it once and for all, it is possible to eliminate symptoms and ease the condition in any case.

Here are recommendations that will help ease the condition in case of allergy to dust and pet hair:

  • Even in winter, it is necessary to ventilate the room as often as possible;
  • Perform wet cleaning of the room as often as possible;
  • Avoid direct contact with animals if the body reacts inadequately specifically to them;
  • It is advisable to exclude from the interior all items that collect dust: carpets, open cabinets, and shelves. The doors of the cabinet where books are kept must be glazed;
  • It is better to hang light curtains made of cotton or synthetics that can be washed on the windows, but in no case blinds, as they are a universal dust collector;
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the room where allergy sufferers live – tobacco smoke itself is a rather strong irritant;
  • Indoor plants can cause mold growth and contribute to the formation of house dust, so they should either be removed or kept constantly clean.
